** TRACK NEWS **

For all you riders who haven't rode Descend Hamsterley in a while your in for a treat!
The tracks have seen a massive amount of work over the past few months,
both top and bottom sections have seen new lines cut, improved surfacing and new features!

The main line has had seen new jumps, drops, twists and turns and the popular table top has been resurfaced and lengthened!
The bottom section has ssen an influx of new hits, rock gardens and much more planned.

We have several new lines which run off from the start of our nationally recognised 4X track.
Multi-hit lines with uber flow are a plenty!

Downhill 1

Drop in off the start ramp and a tight single track that soon picks up speed and opens up.Features include bombhole, sharp fast berms, drop offs, speed jumps followed by a set of switch backs that set you up on a short straight to hit the 30ft table top.Land the downslope and your into a rock garden, left, right or straight on the choice is yours.Through a set of tight corners and approach the fire road crossing.

At speed you cross the fire road hit a take off launching 10/15ft down a small slope.Hit another rock garden round a tight left then right off a small drop onto rocks then off another drop into a deep right corner a slight left then pick your way down the ROCK garden and set yourself up for the path drop.Off the drop onto more rocks then launch off the rock into a right hand berm.From dark to light you come out on a steep hillside.

Bottom Section
Turn left or straight on through Dave's Dicey Detour round a big sweeping berm to keep your speed up, off a drop down a short straight that sets you up on a steep right corner.Along another short straight, hard on the brakes a steep left then right, launch off the drop 30ft down the hillside then over a set of 20ft doubles to the finish.

Downhill 2

New Bottom Section
Split right behind the cabins and follow DH2.This course is more single track with a couple of rock drops,tight off camber corners through a minefield of stumps down a short straight, round a set of tight corners off a drop.Heading along a short straigh and up round the bus stop or keep it tight left.Choose high or low along a stumpy rocky section followed by a path jump or roll in, into a steep tight right berm then down a short steep shoot to the finish.


The Duel

Head 2 head from the start ramp step down get the line and hit 2 table tops, ride 2 berms right then left.Jump or manual the small doubles pick your line and cut your mate up at the cross over.Gather speed round the sweeping right hand berm and hit a pair of 4X type table tops, land the down slope and blast the berm to hit the finish line first.

Big berms, big jumps and a big hit with most riders.
